Cardiometabolic Leadership Academy

PACH conducts an ongoing patient advocacy training program called the Cardiometabolic Leadership Academy, or CLA, for patients with various cardiometabolic diseases.
CLA advocates benefit from:
- A yearly in-person training in Washington, DC;
- Opportunity to participate in monthly PACH coalition calls;
- Access to a rapid response team at their disposal;
- Ad-hoc training when opportunities arise; and
- Ongoing opportunities to engage with policymakers and the press.
The CLA training will empower patients and caregivers and make them effective in discussing complex issues for earned media opportunities, legislative testimonials, and policymaker meetings.
